The 2009 Act Relative to Clean Energy requires that the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) establish a Pathways Out of Poverty Program. Grants made through the Pathways Out of Poverty Program are intended to support pathways towards economic self-sufficiency in the clean energy industry for low and moderate-income individuals.
MassCEC is seeking proposals for On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs that prepare and place unemployed and under-employed individuals in occupations in the clean energy sector.
Mass CEC is partnering with Commonwealth Corporation and the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
